Nurses on Demand was founded by Christina Dutkowski in order to address the shortcomings of the current care-system she noticed during her 5 years as an ER nurse in Edmonton’s hospitals.
Using her personal experience in healthcare, she set out to create a more efficient and personalized alternative to the traditional way care was administered, and thus, Nurses on Demand was born. Our services are designed to achieve four core objectives:

Provide Flexible and Contract-Free Payment Options for Patients
Many home care providers rely on a contract-based payment schedule as their sole method of compensation. At Nurses on Demand, we understand that this might not be a realistic option for everyone who requires care.
We take pride in providing our patients with flexible payment options based on their needs, NOT our bottom line.
For example, with us you have the option to choose between three different pricing models, depending on your unique needs:
Pay-by-visit – This is a fantastic option for those who require care on an inconsistent basis. This option allows you to pay only for the care you need.
Pay-by-hour – This option is often used by clients who take advantage of our relief/respite care service. For example, if you’re a single parent with a special needs child, it can feel like a second full-time job. We’ll provide some much-needed relief for a few hours so you can go on a date or just take some time to relax and recharge.
Monthly Payment Plan – If you know you require care on a consistent basis, a monthly payment plan might be a good fit for you. We’ll set up a care-schedule with a monthly rate and assign one of our trusted nurses to provide regular care you can count on.
